During World War II, the USCG Eagle acted as a cargo ship and stayed relatively out of the firefight, though she did knock three Soviet planes out of the sky with her antiaircraft guns.  The USCG Eagle is currently the only active sailing ship commissioned by the United States, and our painstaking workmanship honors her triumph.  Showcased on a wall-mounted display shelf or in a rosewood display case, our USCG Eagle model ship is an elegant addition to the home or office.
